![]() Classes Offered:Intermediate Block (Grades 4-5): This block includes Science, Math and English. Jr. High Block: This block includes Science, Pre-Algebra and Geography (S.S. credit). Physical Science (HS): This class will focus on the science of matter and energy and its interactions in the environment. English I (HS): Freshman English class designed to introduce proper writing skills and continuation of grammar. Chemistry (HS): The purpose of this class is to introduce the composition of substances and their properties. Zoology (HS): The specific study of animals and animal anatomy. An extension of Biology (Biology pre-requisite). Biology (HS): This class will focus on living organisms and the study of cellular life. Algebra (HS): Math class dealing with polynomials, graphing, factoring, equations and more. Geography (Jr. H.): The class will delve into man's social and cultural change of the Earth and placement of countries. U.S. History (Jr. H./HS): History of the United States from formation to the present. ACT Prep. (HS): Getting your college-bound student ready for the ACT test and test-taking practices. Literature (HS): An introduction to American and European authors and various types of prose. Geometry (HS): A basic study of shapes including functions, area and proofs. Speech/Writing (HS): This class teaches the five types of writing and the skills needed for public speaking. Government/Economics (HS): One semester each. Government is the introduction to the American political system where each student will take the Constitution test (required in Missouri). Economics will focus on the economic system of America and its importance in citizens' lives. Business Math (HS): Math Skills for everyday life; checkbooks, shopping, mortages, loans, etc. Schedule of Classes:

Junior High/Intermediate Block Classes are intended to be taken together but may also be taken as just one class. Five-minute breaks are taken between each Block Class.
